Breed Rings in Sweden
Breed rings (rasringar) are typically independent associations not affiliated with a national federation such as SVERAK. They focus on one or more specific breeds and are open to breeders, exhibitors and enthusiasts across Sweden regardless of location. Breed rings promote their breeds by spreading knowledge, connecting breeders, listing available litters and stud cats, and organising events and lectures – playing an important role in supporting healthy breeding practices, genetics and breed health.
Most breeders and exhibitors are involved in one or more breed rings in addition to their SVERAK club membership. Membership conditions vary and may include a fee – contact each breed ring directly for more information.
