How to Choose:

Steel pin brushes are mainly used on long coats without too much undercoat. The size of the animal and the thickness / length of the fur determine which pin brush length to choose. Similarly, the thinner the coat, the softer the base of the brush should be and vice versa to avoid fur damage when detangling and brushing. For more delicate areas of the body with less or shorter fur, we recommend a short steel pin brush, a wooden pin brush or a metal comb.

• Regular size, soft base with extra thick steel pins (15 mm): round tips for gentler brushing. Recommended for Yorkshire Terrier, Maltese, Toy and Miniature poodle and so on. 230 x 63 mm
• Mini size, soft base with steel pins (16 mm): a mini brush of high quality and soft base. Plastic tips on the steel pins gives the skin a nice massage while brushing the fur. Recommended for small dogs, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits. Practical for travel, show, short trips and walks. 120 x 40 mm.
• Regular size, soft base with steel pins (20 mm): round tips for gentler brushing. Recommended for all silky furs and sensitive skin. 230 x 63 mm
• Regular size, medium base with long steel pins (27 mm): round tips for gentler brushing. Recommended for medium-long and long furs. Medium poodle, Bearded Collie, Briard, Afghan and so on. 230 x 63 mm
• Regular size, medium base with extra long steel pins (35 mm): round tips for gentler brushing. Recommended for long furs. Afghan, Borzoi, Standard poodle and so on. 230 x 63 mm
• Regular size, hard base with long steel pins (24 mm): round tips for gentler brushing. Recommended for medium to large animals with relatively thick and long fur, with or without undercoat. 185 x 48 mm
